Electives winter semester 2024/25

You need a total of four electives: Electives 1 and 2 in your first semester, and Electives 3 and 4 in your third semester.

For Electives 1 and 2 in the first semester, you can choose up to two modules from the bachelor's module catalogue. For Electives 3 and 4 in the third semester, you must choose modules from the master's module catalogue. Alternatively, you can choose only master's modules for all four electives.

It is also possible to recognize an advanced language course A2 as elective 4, in the same language that you have your language course A1.

Recognition of electives:

If you hold already a master degree under certain conditions some of the courses from your master can be recognized as electives in M-AID:

  1. The courses need to be from a master programme
  2. The courses need to have a minimum of 5 Credits (ECTS) or equivalent of 5 Credits
  3. The courses need to be in computer science, data science or artificial intelligence
