Recognition
Recognition of electives:
1. If you hold already a master degree under certain conditions some of the courses from your master can be recognized as electives in M-AID:
- The courses need to be from a master programme
- The courses need to have a minimum of 5 Credits (ECTS) or equivalent of 5 Credits
- The courses need to be in computer science, data science or artificial intelligence
2. The 3rd semester can only be recognized if a practical semester worth 30 ECTS has already been completed during the Bachelor's program.
The 210 ECTS are comprised of 180 ECTS for theoretical coursework and 30 ECTS for practical experience. The internship must have been completed as part of the degree program, be listed on the transcript, and must have lasted at least 16 (?) weeks on a full-time basis.
If students provide evidence of a university degree that qualifies them for admission and comprises 210 ECTS points (or is recognized as equivalent), the acquired theoretical and practical competencies may be credited toward the internship semester as well as electives 3 and 4, provided the requirements of Art. 86 of the BayHIG are met. Partial recognition of the internship or the elective modules is not possible.
For more detailed information, please contact the USB, as the USB is responsible for the recognition of the 3rd semester.
3. It is also possible to recognize an advanced language course A2 as elective 4, in the same language that you have your language course A1.
