Steinbeisser Kathrin Steinbeisser
Hello! My name is Kathrin and I will be your tutor throughout this course. I am a registered nurse currently working in the Public Health nursing sector with a focus on health promotion and health equity. Thanks to my experience while working at the World Health Organisation in the United States of America, studying a semester as a nurse in Canada, and working in different health fields in Germany, I saw what health means for many people and how a variety of factors influences health. Working in all of these fields also showed me how high-quality studies and showing good evidence in health care is one of the most important topics to learn about during your studies. In 2015, I became a member of this course's team and was given the opportunity to create new course content which taught students about current topics in health. In 2020, I was the leading person to update this course with new content and exercises. I will be the contact person for your questions regarding the course content and we will get in touch during the tutorials. I look forward to meeting you guys soon!

Rester Prof Dr. Christian Rester
Hello! My name is Christian and I am the professor who initiated this course. I am a registered nurse and currently working as a professor at the Technical University of Deggendorf. My focus lies on gerontology and demographic development. My experience reaches from practical insights in different nursing fields up to teaching at the university. In 2012, we discussed with experts on how to improve English and research skills in nursing and health students in Bavaria. Therefore, we created this course which already received its third update in 2020. I hope you all are very successful and have fun with the course!
