the THD-Alumni team is happy to announce another round of the

✨ International Mentoring Programme ✨

Join our mentoring program and be guided by professionals who have walked the same halls as you. They bring invaluable hands-on experience from the industry and are eager to help you navigate life and work in Germany!

The programme starts in April 2025 and is offered exclusively to international - regular - students of DIT, no matter on which campus you are on.

What is the International Mentoring Programme?

The International Mentoring Programme is an online programme that links international students with DIT alumni. The students benefit from the alumni's experience as former students of DIT and as employees/entrepreneurs in Germany. The matching is carried out by THD-Alumni, depending on the study programme and/or culture.

How is the mentoring programme working?

Once the tandems (= Mentor + Mentee) are selected, they are brought together via WhatsApp. The THD-Alumni team accompanies and supports the tandems and encourages connection. At the end, Mentors and Mentees will receive a certificate, which shows their engagement and can be a positive on their CV.

This programme, will start in April and run until September. The kick-off event will be held end of April. 
Of course, participation is free of charge. 

Please find the guidelines for the programme with further information below. Please read them carefully before applying to the programme!

Who can apply?

This programme is for regular international students that are at least in their third semester Bachelor or second semester Master studies. This programme is not open to exchange students.

How can you apply?

International students who are interested in this programme can apply for it NOW until 7. April 2025. 

To be part of the programme please send in an application that includes:

• CV that complies with German Standards
• Letter of motivation in which you clearly work out what advantages you see in the programme and why you should be accepted

Please send your complete application to alumni@th-deg.de by Monday, 7 April 2025.
We will inform you if your application has been successful and send you an invitation to the kick-off event.
