Liebe Forschende,
wir möchten Sie einladen, für den 10. Tag der Forschung der THD, der am 23. März 2023 virtuell stattfinden wird, einen Abstract über Ihr aktuelles Projekt oder Ihre aktuelle wissenschaftliche Arbeit einzureichen. Insbesondere Nachwuchswissenschaftler:innen möchten wir auffordern, ihr aktuelles Forschungs- oder Dissertationsprojekt bzw. ihre erfolgreich absolvierte Masterarbeit zu präsentieren und intern als auch extern sichtbar zu machen.
Ziel der Veranstaltungsreihe „Tag der Forschung“ ist es, Forschende an der THD interdisziplinär, fakultäts- und standortübergreifend in einen Austausch zu bringen und dadurch gleichzeitig einen Einblick in aktuelle Forschungsaktivitäten an der THD zu geben.
Im kommenden Jahr sollen erneut alle Projekte in Form von eingängigen Postern nach dem Prinzip „1 Bild – 1 Satz“ aufbereitet und präsentiert werden. Diese Poster werden bereits vorab online zur Verfügung gestellt und mit den Abstracts sowie weiterführenden Projektinformationen verlinkt.
Die Poster sollen als Teaser fungieren und Neugierde wecken, um sich weiterführend über Ihr Projekt zu informieren und am Tag der Forschung schnell und einfach mit Ihnen ins Gespräch zu kommen.
Zehn der eingereichten Beiträge werden für einen Kurzvortrag ausgewählt und konkurrieren 2023 zum siebten Mal um den Best Presentation Award, den begehrten Wanderpokal.
Bitte senden Sie Ihren Abstract bis zum 08.01.2023 an forschungskommunikation@th-deg.de . Der Abstract sollte folgende Informationen enthalten: Projekttitel, Ziel, Methode, Ergebnisse, Projektbeteiligte mit kurzem Lebenslauf inkl. Bildern und Logos (insgesamt maximal 450 Wörter).
Einreichungen auf Deutsch oder Englisch sind willkommen. Gerne können Sie sich an der Vorlage, die im Intranet hinterlegt ist, orientieren. Der Abstract wird auf der THD Homepage abgelegt und das Poster dorthin verlinkt. Ihr ausgewähltes Bild, den beschreibenden Satz zum Projekt, das Projektlogo und Hinweise zu den Bildrechten benötigen wir bis zum 31.01.2023.

Dear researchers,
We would like to invite you to submit an abstract on your current project or research activity for DIT’s 10th Day of Research on March 23rd, 2023. The event will be held virtually. Specifically, we would like to encourage our junior researchers to present their current research, doctoral project or their completed Master’s thesis/project to staff at DIT and an audience from business, industry and the general public.
The aim of our Day of Research is to connect DIT’s research staff across all scientific disciplines, faculties and campus locations. Beyond that, the event presents an overview of the manifold current research activities at our university of applied sciences.
Just like last year, all contributions are to be presented in the form of catchy posters. The motto is: “1 picture, 1 sentence”. All posters will be published online before the event and will be linked to the abstracts as well as to further project information.
The posters should be designed to incite interest so that people will want to find out more about your project in advance. And they should facilitate the communication and exchange with guests, colleagues and fellow researchers.
Furthermore, from all submitted contributions, ten persons will be chosen to deliver short presentations in front of the audience. For the seventh time in 2023, all ten speakers compete for the Best Presentation Award, as a Challenge trophy.
Please submit your abstract (to
forschungskommunikation@th-deg.de) until January 8th, 2023. Please include:
project title, aims, methods, results as well as participating researchers
with short CVs including photos and, if necessary, logos. Thank you for
respecting the limit of 450 words in total.
Abstracts may be submitted in either English or German. You are welcome to use the template, which is available on the intranet. The abstracts will be made accessible on the THD homepage where all posters will be linked to. The chosen poster image, the 1 sentence and, where required, project logos as well as information on the image rights are to be submitted until January 31st, 2023.
