Dear graduates!
For quite a while I've been promising to extend the time for discussions with you. The way I've decided to do that is as follows:
- I have now extended my usual office hours (http://officehours.peterfaber.net) to cover Wednesday and Thursday (2nd block).
- Additionally, I'd like to propose a virtual tech talk (http://techtalks.peterfaber.net) in the 3rd block (Wed or Thu) where a graduate may propose to have a chat with me about their work. However, during those time slots, the chat should not be private, but open to all of you (the idea is to discuss formalities or interesting findings there).
For all of these meetings, one of you would have to propose an appointment via http://officehours.peterfaber.net or http://techtalks.peterfaber.net in beforehand. We may then meet at http://office.webconf.peterfaber.net as usual.
In case of open "tech talks", it may be a good idea to also post here, if someone wants to talk about their work. Well, we have only 4 students here at the moment, but since all of you are working on interesting topics, it might be nice to meet and talk to each other anyway.
